Bonne Route Auto's multibrand after-sales platform was inaugurated on 22 July 2024 in the Kenitra Atlantic Free Zone by Ahmed Sekkat, the group's founder and chief executive, alongside Jeroen Roodenburg, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Rabat.

The facility covers 10,000 square metres. It was built in collaboration with America's PACCAR and the Netherlands' DAF Trucks, through their joint subsidiary TRP, a global reference in multibrand parts for trucks and trailers.

A programme of 60,000 references

The TRP programme covers more than 60,000 part references across the market's main makes: DAF Trucks, Volvo, Iveco, MAN, Scania, Renault and Mercedes. It is this catalogue that allows the platform to serve mixed fleets regardless of make.

The project is part of an overall plan of 120 million dirhams spread over three years — around 40 million a year — for the creation and development of several platforms across Morocco. Some 150 jobs are expected over the period.

A corridor between Europe and Africa

For Ahmed Sekkat, the initiative supports the country's economic policy and aims to strengthen ties between Africa and Europe through an after-sales ecosystem serving transport and logistics.

Najib Ouzane, chief financial officer, said the group plans to establish itself in Dakhla to support the development of the Dakhla Atlantique port and facilitate trade between Morocco and the rest of the continent.

Ambassador Roodenburg recalled the long-standing economic ties between the Netherlands and Morocco — the Kingdom's first European trade agreement dates back to 1610 — and praised the appeal of the Kénitra industrial zone.

The ceremony was also marked by a partnership agreement between Bonne Route Auto and Sofac: Sofac finances the purchase of used trucks, Bonne Route Auto supplies serviced vehicles with a six-month warranty.
